William Earl

William Earl is the Editor of Variety.com. William has held numerous roles at Variety's parent company PMC, most recently as the Director of Digital Development. Previously, he was the Digital Director of IndieWire, the Senior Digital Editor of PMC Brands, and the Executive Editor of HollywoodLife.com. He grew up in Maine, graduated with degrees in politics and journalism from Ithaca College, and lives in NYC.
